As a special celebration of Indigenous Peoples Day (October 14th) I have a polish called Four Directions to share with you today.
This special nail polish is named after the four directions, represented by the colors white, red, black and white, the four directions are represented on the medicine wheel and represent the directions of north, south, east and west. The medicine wheel is a sacred item that is used for healing and represents so many different things to different tribes. Mother Earth, Father Sky and Spirit tree; Eagle, Bear, Wolf and Buffalo; Fire, Air, Water and Earth and so many other sacred things.
With each sale of this polish I will be donating $2 to the Minnesota Indian Women’s Resource Center (https://www.miwrc.org/#) who is a non-profit that provides programs to educate and empower native women and provide necessary services for my community here in Minneapolis.
This crelly has red, black and yellow glitter in various sizes and will be available until it is sold out. It is $12. This nail polish is really important to me as a native woman, to help spread my culture and to help bring awareness to some of my teachings.
